Description New (hopefully feasible) self-challenge. Draw one character every week, focus on consistency, practice poses, fabric folds, shading, coloring, everything, and don't destroy tablet out of frustration.

Drawing a character every week.... good luck! I love the classic Emmy pose and the shading looks good on this one!

An incredible drawing of Emmy, very well done The colours mix well and the shading is absolutely stunning in this one. I also really like the clothing folds. Very clear lines that provide movement where pose alone can't. Wish I myself had the patience to sit down and practice clothing folds and shading. God knows those are some serious problem areas I struggle with in drawing. But I don't think I could handle it. Particularly because I really would break my tablet out of frustration. Good luck to you, though, with your drawing challenge. If this is just what Emmy looks like, I definitely look forward to a Clive and an Amelia drawing

 Hgn, thanks. I really liked how that Clive and Amelia drawing turned out, so that inspired me to try and push myself a bit. Clothing folds scared me for a long time, but I'm slowly getting the basics down. It's a trial and error process, but I'm finding it's not as time-consuming as I thought it would be (but still time-consuming enough ). Hoping to try my hand at a few characters I've never done before, but of course, I'll fit Amelia and Clive in there somewhere
