Guess I shoulda specified a little better. Thanks for taking my advice, though! What I meant was more like this [link] . Trying making simple, readable letters, like a consistent font. That was done without rulers, all by hand and eyeballed. The more you do them, the more letter form gets pounded into your brain, and from there you can start tilting and tweaking the letters. Stretch a part here, lean a part there, but still keeping it readable. I know how it feels, though, 'cuz before someone taught me about letter form and stuff, I had no idea what I was doing and kept trying crazy stuff and wildstyles. But simples are the easiest way to reach that level. Just like I said with it learning to draw the human body, you gotta learn to draw humans realistically before you can draw, say, charicatures or cartoons: tweaked and distorted versions of the body that are still recognizable. Keep it up, though! I like your color ideas. Very cool stuff
