I like the smile he makes but i feel like there’s not much break down as he transforms, like he could bob his head, close his eyes something in between. But the after images with the paw wave make it a great effect

I think the animation is a bit more limited to lower the file size in case people want to use it as an icon? Not to mention if it's smaller in size the animation will look a bit different and possibly smoother?

I can't say for certain if this was the motive for the reduction in the animation, BUT that's what I thought.
As animations shrink the quality shrinks so sometimes a simpler animation looks smoother :')
