This was it. This was the final stretch before they made their way to the first lord of souls. Twilight and Sunset had been through so much. And had already lost so much of their memories. They can't even recall how they became friends in the first place. If either one of them were to die now... It was best not to think about such things now that they were so close.
They could hear the hem of a Bonfire just on the other side of a door. In Twilight's eagerness to get the door open she did not see the 3 archers placed on the catwalk a ways away. Sunset arrived to late. There she saw Twilight lying on the ground with 3 arrows lodged in her chest. Sunset could not know what would happen if she were to resurrect? Would she still remember her face? Would she be a full hollow or try to kill her? Oh Twilight why did you not wait!
Sunset could only do one thing. It was risky. But if she could get to the Lord of souls, it might make Twilight's flame just a little stronger. So before Twilight flashed away, Sunset grabbed Twilight's flame and held onto it as tight as she could. The ember was so small and it was fading fast. Only one thing to do now.
