Every year, my Husband, my Mother in Law, and myself work on a collaboration for the family Christmas card.This was my part of the card for this year. My husband drew the cover of the card - Santa telling a poor child Christmas is cancelled, because a good kid told him to do so.
Iori, Kyo, and Bella are my 3 cats, which have inspired several art pieces recently.
Vinny, Leo, Notte, Primo, Furby and Cookie are my Mom in Law's.
Notte/Primo/Furby/Cookie are rescue cats. She took them in to foster... but failed and ended up adopting all four.
The point of this drawing is that every cat is celebrating the best they can before Christmas vanishes!
Vinny - Ornament in the tree
Bella - Under the mistletoe and not happy about it
Kyo - Waiting for food like a Nutcracker would
Leo - Holding the tree, trying to prevent a cat-as-trophy
Cookie/Furby/Primo/Notte - Being mischievous in the curtains/window/tree
Iori - The mistletoe was his idea and it’s backfiring
