So I made this rainbow corset and skirt for for our grad dance. Corset turned out awesome and I'm really happy with it. Fits her like a glove. It has plastic bones so it cant and shouldn't be laced up very tight. Not meant for waist training! Outside fabric was 100% cotton quilting fabric. Yes I know your not supposed to use quilting fabric for clothing but the fabric store didn't have any rainbow except for this. It's completely lined with a sheer white lining. As for the skirt I think I may make it again because I didn't use a pattern for it unlike the corset. The original skirt was to short so I had to lengthen it which is were I started to dislike it. Anyway the lining of the skirt is make from a light blue polyester spandex mix. There's about eight layers of white tule and four layers of blue tule at the bottom. As well six ribbons all one of the colours of the rainbow going all the way around. This is but the first of my attemt at rave themed outfits so there will be more to come and each one will be better then the last. ^^
