Yay! Grumpy Zhao is back.Page original size 5,5" X 8".
Rough pencils. Grey shading, lettering and word ballons done in Photoshop
These pages done for fun, and also as a good exercise in storytelling and planning on such a long scale, which I had not really done before.
I am not planning on inking, cleaning more or coloring them. I simply do not have the time.
The Avatar universe belongs to Mike, Bryan, Nickelodeon-Viacom-MTV.
All the characters belong to them, but a few of the extras are my own creation.

Now, you just got my attention! Never been a Zhao fan before, but you've just turn me into one now! I'll keep reading these clever strips since I believe you did a wonderful job with the story and keeping Zhao in character it's a big deal! Cheerios!

He's a bit older and burlier than Hahn ever was, but I guess it's typical of the men of the tribe to be protective. And seeing as to who Zhao is, it's not too surprising they are more wary

I won't blame Aatami for being cranky- that "Zhaoka" guy is not to be trusted.
Didn't start as a favor - but Nauja does enjoy making clothes. When it came time to dress up Zhao properly, she stepped up to the task and never really stopped afterwards.
