Yeah, that is intentional. I didn't want to make a cockpit so I just made glass opaque instead. However it is very difficult to make glass look right without transparency so I know it doesn't look perfect.

Yes, any kind of detailed cockpit would be time-consuming to make.

I think you kinda shot yourself in the foot there.
I know how long it can take to make 3d stuff, but the more time you put into it, it pays off.

I would recommend this for a DD if it had the cockpit, but already others feel like it's a shorcut.

If I remember correctly from the concept description, the pilot guides the bomb with some small fins to the target. The vehicle is dropped from a larger airplane, like a bomber.

Well it would have been a timeline where the entire foundation of the Japanese Bushido, code of honor and the value of a human life would have developed vastly different from how it was especially during that time. Sorry, I just find the entire concept of how Americans claimed how kamikaze supposedly worked rather silly. Kamikaze was an attempt to take a final kill with a plane that was lost anyways. I respect those pilots for finding the courage to admit to their own death and do anything they can to serve their country even in death.

Well I can hardly blame you, winners write the history and the Americans have made up some really nasty stuff against the Japanese to justify their bombings. I'm not saying that the Japanese haven't done any wrong and haven't participated in cruel manslaughter themselves (see the Wikipedia article on the Japanese war crimes en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese… , but I don't like the Americans for presenting themselves as the force of justice that doesn't need to be held responsible for its own misdeeds. That's just adding insult to injury.

So they got rocket planes... But no ICBM technology?

Unless they happen to have more people than resources to expend... Which would be... To be honest interesting. "We can't build a missile, but we can retrofit old planes and stuff a poor bloke in to it to die in -literally- flaming glory"
