Don't read this if you haven't seen the 2011 movie HOP and want to avoid spoilers, if you're actually interested in seeing it of course.

A week ago was the 12th anniversary of Illumination's only known animated and live-action film. And I think 2011 had been a good year to release it if you can find the connection like I have.

So, in the film, China at first doesn't seemed too thrilled about being delivered candy by a talking rabbit (which was quite odd when you remember what one of the animals from the zodiac calender was). And it isn't until, the main character, Fred O'Hare's knowledge of Mandarin Chinese (thanks to the fact that he has an adopted chinese, little sister) that lets the Easter Holiday finally penetrate the Chinese Market. And EB himself is quite impressed.

So, whether you're a fan of HOP or not, it's definitely okay in my book mainly because of all my years of trivia.
