Oh yeah. I do envy you guys for having such awesome food like that... Sandwiches are quite expensive here as it's not our staple food.

Enjoy as best you can... San Francisco has long been heaven for gourmets & gourmands. Unfortunately, it's now the most expensive city in America rent & housing wise. If I didn't qualify for a government rent controlled apartment due to my age & income, I couldn't live here anymore...

Sandwiches are like that in here.. and that's just subway. Some restaurants can charge $20-$30 for a sandwich.

We have a selection of finger food instead:
Savoury: Ham, salami, Cheeses, bread, Crackers, cherry tomatoes, dip and potato crisps.
For sweet we also have chocolate and or tim tams.

And sometimes there are left overs from lunch that we can also snack on. 
The last meeting we had so much vegetarian fried rice left over that we were able to have that for dinner too.
