Description
With this piece I tried to deliver to the audience an imposing feeling. I used leading lines to make the entire piece feel as though it’s drawing the viewer into the steady reflective eyes of the racoon. Using only lines with no colour was a challenge, especially when my typical art has such a heavy focus on rendering and lighting. The concept of this piece forced me to push my linework. For this piece I made sure there was no unused space, every inch of the piece is filled with elements of nature, or of the polka dots that follow pattern just as the lines do.
