I need you, come back for fuck's sakeever since Sirius was blinded, everyone noticed how much she changed. her best friend especially - that being Syrup.
Syrup had always depended on Sirius ever since they met when they were foals. while he may act super confident and arrogant, he's actually very dependent and insecure, and only Sirius really understands. so when she suddenly faded from his life, he had no idea how to react. at first, he tried his best to be there for her, but nothing seemed to work. he eventually began to distance himself from her, feeling guilty about her unstable health, and feeling like he's worthless in this situation. he tries turning to other things to get his mind off of her, and while it may work for a night or two, it would never last.
Sirius on the other hand only felt worse when he left her by herself. she didn't know what to say, though eventually found the words. she didn't need him to heal her, she just needed him to be there. and he wasn't.
