Description
Todoroki glaces around as he walks down the street. His usual stoic expression is present despite the children running around and yelling while their parents escort them house to house. Lights flash through the darkened neighborhood as screams and "trick or treat"s echo. Though he was in his usual appearance, Todoroki stuck out like a sore thumb. He hadn't bothered to dress up, unlike everyone else roaming the streets. He just wanted to watch horror movies with his girlfriend.

As he approaches the house he had gone to many times before, he's taken aback by how different it looks. Cobwebs litter bushes and trees in the front yard, skeletons decorate the lawn, a scarecrow watches over the front door, and red lights lead the way the door. A single porch light is on by the door, letting children know they're welcome to come for candy. As Todoroki approaches your porch, he takes note of the carved pumpkins by the front door. You both had carved them together a few days prior much to your insistence.

  Ringing the doorbell, he admires the decorations for the holiday. Suddenly, the door is thrown open and a white light flashes behind the figure responsible. Todoroki meets your eyes, unfazed by the ordeal. You had struck a pose, a bowl of candy tucked under your arm. A giant smile fills your features, but when you notice your boyfriend's blank face, you pout.

"Shoutoooo! Really? Nothing?!" you whine, "Not even a smile? Or a shocked look? I tried so hard..."

"What are you wearing?" he ignores your complaining and walks into your home, just as decorated as the outside. You pout even more as you close the door behind you. With his hands shoved in his pockets, he looks at you. He carefully studies your outfit. You wore a short, slightly distressed black dress with dark tights under it. A pointed hat sat on your head, and you had a finishing touch of black booties with a silver buckle.

"A costume! Duh. It is Halloween, ya know," you tap his nose before putting a pirate hat on his head. He smiles gently at your antics. You giggle quietly before walking towards the glowing TV. You pick up two DVD cases.

"Do you want to watch Silence of the Lambs or Carri-" before you can finish your question, the doorbell rings. You clap your hands excitedly before skipping over to the door. You grab the bowl of candy and repeat the entrance you had performed earlier. After handing out candy, you return to the DVDs. Todoroki had already put Silence of the Lambs in for you and waited on the couch.

"I picked Silence of the Lambs. I hope that's okay," he states coolly. You nod with a smile and plop down next to him. He begins the movie, shifting a little closer to you. Before getting too far along, the doorbell rings again. You pause the movie and get up to hand out candy.

The same scene repeated again and again. Before the movie had even reached 20 minutes, you had paused it 47 times. Yes, he counted. When the doorbell rings for the 48th time, Todoroki follows you to the front door. After giving candy out to the herd of children, you close the door and nearly run into Shouto's chest.

"Gah! When did you get there, Shouto? You scared me," you laugh. Silently, he reaches past you. Your eyebrows furrow as you follow the path of his hand with your eyes. He flicks off the porch light and takes the bowl of candy from your hands. As he sets it on the small table by the door, you reach out to take it back.

"Hey! What are you doing? There's still an hour of Hall-"

You're cut off by him lifting you over his shoulder. Both of your hats fall too the ground as you're spun around. Recovering from shock, you hit his back gently in protest.

"Shouto! Hey! Put me down!" And with that, you're thrown onto the couch. You gasp and look up at him with wide eyes. He stood above you. He looks slightly annoyed.

And as much as he'd hate to admit, he was. Not because you kept pausing the movie, but because you were hardly paying any attention to him. Usually, Shouto could keep a cool head, but he got a little more irked every time the doorbell rang and you moved away from him.

"Just stay in one place and watch the movie with me," he says monotonously. You grin up at him and hold up your arms.

"C'mere, cutie!"

Blushing lightly, he slowly allows himself to sink into your arms next to you on the couch. You sigh in content as you snuggle closer to him. As you both relax in each other's arms, neither of you pay attention to the movie playing.

"....I can't believe you were jealous of a bunch of kids."
