    James Buchanan Barnes and yourself had been dating for about three months now. Despite his burly appearance, he was a giant teddy bear inside; to you at least. Right now, you were both in the lounging area of the Avengers Tower curled up on the couch. The TV played whatever had been put on earlier, but neither of you paid too much attention to it. He held you close, your legs entangled together, his arms around your waist. You had nuzzled your face into his neck and fallen asleep a while ago, he could tell by your soft breathing. He was on the verge of sleep himself if he were totally honest with himself.
  He studies your sleeping frame silently. He couldn't see your face, but he knew it held a peaceful look. He looks over your tousled (H/C) hair, eyes trailing over your arms curled into his chest, to the curve of your waist where his arms rested. He smiles gently, shifting ever so slightly as he came closer to sleep. In all those years without you, he never would've thought this kind of peace and gentleness and love would come; but the second you entered his life, it was there. He closed his eyes, thinking thoughts of you. The tower was quiet, there was nothing to do, and you were in his arms. It couldn't be a better day.

  Suddenly, a ding of the elevator breaks the silence.

  "Yo!" Sam yells, entering the room. Bucky's eyes snap open, grimacing as you jump from the sudden noise. Oh, he was gonna-

  "HOLY-" you shriek as you being to fall off the couch. Lucky for you, Bucky's arms were tightly holding you in place. Realizing you were safe, you sigh in relief before cuddling back into him.

  "Sam..." you growl as the man laughs. Bucky himself shoots him a murderous glare. Sam came over to the couch, holding his hands up in surrender.

  "Sorry, sorry," he laughs, wiping a tear away from his eye, "Didn't mean to ruin the moment. Tony needs you in the lab, (Y/N)."

  You groan into Bucky's chest before forcing yourself to get up. You stretch, a yawn making its way out of your mouth. Bucky refused to take his glare off of Sam for ruining his peaceful day. However, when you turn to him, the meanicing look is gone and replaced with a pout. You giggle at it, leaning down to kiss him gently.

  "Looks like I have to go. See you, Bucky Bear~" you joke with a laugh before waltzing away. His face burns at the nickname you had made a few weeks ago. He sits up, watching you leave the room. As you wave from the elevator, he waves back. After the doors close, he sighs. He already missed you.

    "Bucky Bear?!" Sam laughs. Bucky's eyes widen as he turns to Sam. He forgot he was even in the room. Obviously, you had not. Shooting a glare at Sam, Bucky gets up.

  "Don't even start with me, Sam," he growls. The said man continues to laugh at the embarrassing nickname. He repeats it a few times to himself breathlessly as he laughs. Bucky rolls his eyes as he walks away, trying to ignore the teasing. Sam follows after him.

  "Oh, come on! Don't be like that, BUCKY BEAR!"

    Let's just say there was a Sam shaped hole in the wall to be fixed after that...
