Description
Terrevanian Anikiths are agile six legged creatures with keratin masks that protect their face. They have poisonous spikes on their back and the back of their head, and the two front legs function much like a preying mantis's. They are about as fast as a panther, but much bigger, and hunt by chasing their prey and pouncing.

Anikiths are unusual in that they have a hard keratin shell protecting their lungs and stomach instead of ribs, and if cracked or broken, extremely strong acid will pour out, badly injuring whatever was attacking the Anikith. There are two variations of Anikith; Forest and Desert. Forest Anikiths have fur over their entire body and have a longer tail, while desert Anikiths have no fur on their underbelly and are larger than their cousins. Due to the rocky nature of most of Terrevanimus's deserts, a lot of desert variations will have small sharp barbs on their feet to help grip the surface better.

Anikiths are an open species, you can make one as long as you give me credit and you show me the design to approve.
