Description Also known as Beliar. In the Hebrew Bible, Belial was a term meaning "worthless", but in later traditions Belial became a personified Devil. The Dead Sea Scrolls refer to Belial as the chief enemy of Jehovah. In the War of the Sons of Light Against the Sons of Darkness, Belial is the leader of the Sons of Darkness. The Manual of Discipline refers to an Angel of Light and an Angel of Darkness, and the Angel of Light is identified as God (in this context Jehovah) and the Angel of Darkness is identified as Belial. The Ascension of Isaiah refers to Belial as the angel of lawlessness and the ruler of this world, and he is identified as Samael and Satan but is also named Matanbuchus. In the Book of Cornithians, Belial was an appellative of Satan. In the Satanic Bible, Belial means "without a master" and symbolizes independence. Belial also appears in the Lesser Key of Solomon as the 68th spirit of the Goetia. The term sons of Belial refers to lawless, disobedient, and rebellious men. It is said that fornication brings man away from "God" and near to Belial.

Not sure what his presence means for Beelzebub, the prince of demons.

In all retrospect, I do feel this drawing could be better with just two arms, and I may do a redesign.
