Here fits the phrase "to be in the right place at the right time". To shot a photo with such a magical atmosphere is impressive.
The lighting is great, it backs up the magical touch and provides more depth. You walk from the light into the dark just by crossing the bridge. I wouldn't be surprised if there were some fairies dancing in the light warning the hikers not to cross over the bridge. I like it when a photo gives many opportunities to create some story behind it. You see a photo and start to think about it, that's a strong point.
I also like the colouring with the almost golden yellow and the green and brown. It's magical and you can get lost in it. Thanks to the sign we won't get lost too much 'cause it shows us the way back to reality. I think it's good that you can see it 'cause this way you get a connection between fantasy and reality. I like that.
The only thing I don't like about the photo is that big rock in the foreground. I must say the first thing I saw in the photo was the rock which is sad 'cause it's not the important part in it. Less foreground would be better. To show some of the rock is fine but not too much 'cause it disturbs the rest of the photo.

Well, thank you very much for your honest opinion. I might get back to that spot and try to take the picture without that stupid rock in the foreground (actually I didnΒ΄t notice it that much before, but just as you say it... ^^)

The trees are leaning in the centre of the shot, I assume they grow straight up, same with the bridge struts, it looks like everything is leaning to the right.
