now now Anna dear no need to mock dogs over their lack of formal education   after all Deputy Dawg Huckleberry Hound Augie Doggie are all accomplished readers  ...actually the sign is intended more for their twit like masters and  not for the pooches themselves

I certainly understood that. But agree, sign on the level of the nose of the dog, not its owner, looks quite funny and with a hint that dogs need to learn to read)))
