Hey there!Drew those sometime ago but just finished recently.
Just designing outfits if I would want to make sprites out of digitised photographs, so designing costumes is mandatory. The orc's head would be made out of latex so it's purposely made a bit bigger, would probably shrink it down in photoshop after the photoshoot.
I don't know if I want to employ this technique to create characters. Using 3d rendered models is a LOT quicker and cheaper, no need to buy costumes and accessories.
We'll see what I'll end up with. Just having fun
