DEEP TALK IF YOU GIVE A SHIT:

I'm big on... how a story is told and what story it tells. fiction can still give a relatable experience for people, and Inside out is nothing short of giving you the slice of life that comes with growing up. perfectly showing how emotions change, and work for all ages to see.

it's a collaboration of ideas for anyone of any age to watch and enjoy. it isn't a perfect film, but that's why to me, it IS perfect. it captures everything you could ask for, and explains things for children that some adults probably couldn't. it sure as fuck helped me.

this film changed me when I first saw it almost a decade ago, and... it was a relatable film for me, struggling with change In life and... struggling to feel emotions I commonly use to.

it helped shape up alot of my opinions on things... I'm the happiest I've ever been right now, but I love looking back at this film, it... in my mind... revolutionised how deep a story could go. it doesn't have be dramatic or.... a phenomal masterpiece. but it just... needs to be the kind of slice of life everyone can relate to.

Riley Andersen, the scene at the end where she cried, on my first watch, I was BALLING my eyes out. not just at the scene but how... much I needed to cry myself. it let me feel like that was okay. I've matured beyond since but I'm getting at this being the first step I took, this movie had me rethinking my entire life.

Protect Riley, NO ONE IS GONNA MAKE HER CRY AGAIN!!!!

She's just a shy, awkward and antisocial person. like alot of people are. and that's okay!

anyway, this is.. probably the one off I draw something non vore and just.. purely because I have a personal connection to it.
