This is a project I've been working on for I think over a year by now, though for a long time it was only Spider-Man, it was only recently that I allowed the rest of the Marvel universe in so in comparison, I got very far with Spidey but the rest are only getting started, so both designs and lore are subject to change at any moment. With these 3 especially, they WILL get design revisions because they're by now pretty old and aren't up to the standard i set for redesigns
Now onto the lore!

The story focuses on the 2000s-2020s, with the earliest modern day heroes being the Fantastic Four, kickstarting a new age of super-powered individuals; with genetic experimentations, accidents that end in super powers, technological enhancements and much more, where regular law enforcement and the military just won't cut it anymore and the world is more dangerous than ever before.
This version of the characters focus on their 2020s selves, I wll definitely post the past ones in the future.

Peter Parker, good ol Spidey, this version takes mostly from the Ultimate comics and Spectacular Spider-Man with a bit of Andrew Garfield sprinkled in the middle. The one that started this entire project, making him the first character I designed for this, and eventually the first who will get a revision as I'm not that happy with this design anymore.
He was bitten by a genetically altered spider from Oscorp in 2010, got super powers that made him Spider-Man, the power started going to his head until he lost his uncle Ben, setting him back into the right path. We all know the story by now, he is however more sympathetic, still a jokester with his enemies but if possible trying to talk THEM back into the right path.

Gwen Parker, that's right baby, she and Peter are married in this AU! Taking a bit from Spectacular, but mostly from the Marc Webb movies as I love her relationship with Peter there, yea she doesn't really take from the actual Spider-Gwen, it's more like mainline Gwen donning the powers and suit.
One of Peter's childhood friends who'd eventually become his wife, the name Ghost-Spider takes a literal meaning as in 2020, Gwen Stacy was once thought to be dead after a feud with the Norman Osborn, the Green Goblin. Harry used a serum that saved her life, but it didn't work on Norman, even stranger at the time of her supposed death, Peter had the Symbiote suit, could it really have been the serum that saved her life? Harry brainwashed the revived Gwen and gave her spider powers, using her to mess with Peter as the White Widow in a twisted way to get back at him after taking the Goblin mantle. But of course, as I don't plan for this to ever become a comic or a written story, I can tell you she ends up okay and she and Peter reunite after her memories are brought back.

Miles Morales! The coolest kid ever! Some of you will complain that I called him Kid Arachnid and not Spider-Man, and that's valid, but I want him to grow into Spider-Man, and while he does not have the title at this time of his life, he is still Spider-Man at heart. Of course he takes mostly from the Spider-Verse films as that's the perfect version of his character for me.
In 2021, after an invasion on Oscorp from the second Prowler, Aaron Davis, an experimented spider sneaked into his bag and bit Miles, learning of his powers on his own until being discovered by Gwen, being taken in by her and Peter for training, they all help each other out when possible and often, all three join together to face threats. Eventually his uncle Aaron faces death, pushing him to stay on this path.
