This was the result of a pretty serious accident. I'm really trying to learn a bit more about things, and this piece was kind of a mistake. But the more I looked at it, the more it grew on me. Hopefully it's not too terrible.Related content

Really neat work - I'm guessing you used 3dstudio on this? I say this, mostly because I've never got any other program to do the really neat wireframe look. However, the coloring and highlighting is just terrific - you gotta tell a soul how you did that.

hey, thanks for your comments. It was 3D studio max, and I found out a little more about making skins and stuff. There's just 2 basic omni lights, but it's the chrome material on the object that really makes it look so cool. (and I cheated, the chrome material that I used is only slightly modified from the one that comes preset with 3dsmax5).

Very sweet work - I keep trying to get the hang of 3ds - and sometimes I can do some nice stuff with it - but other times the skins just kick my brains in. I guess thats why I'm enjoying Bryce so much - easier skinning - its like materials for dummies
