Quite a while that I haven't added something here, yes I still working on the SunChild project, it's just that 95% of the work of the past few month was related to tech stuff, so nothing too much sexy to show, well not today !
Since the release of Sonic Forces, I have a lot of new asset to play with and add to the SunChild project, the thing is simple, I currently rebuilding (and enhancing) the Avatar editor of Sonic Forces into the UE4, so I can have my Mobian generator for various Mobian background characters

I have build a master armature which can drive absolutely all the avatar part / species, so rebuilding the avatar inside the UE4 is really "drag and drop" in the idea.
I've also added a basic fur setup (powered by Nvidia HairWorks) which is fully customizable directly into the UE4 (fur length, density, waviness, root and tip color...) and I have also build an custom eyes material fully customizable as well and ready for animation purpose (pupil and iris shape and size fully controlable and can be keyframed, various layer for various color grading and an heterochromia option that you can fully control in its shape and color as well).
