Batman always needs a Robin

Secret Origins: A young kid that managed to learn Batman and Robin's secret identities, after the death of the second Robin, a teen Tim Drake began to take notice of a drastic and almost psychotic change in Batman's behavior, in which he became convinced that Batman needed a Robin to maintain his sanity, at first going to talk to the original Robin, Nightwing, as for to him to return at Batman's side, however, where Dick intended to help Batman as Nightwing, Tim remained convinced that Batman needed Robin more.
During a battle against Harvey ''Two Face'' Dent, Tim took an old Robin costume, coming to the aid of both, able to rescue them. Batman, although extremely reluctant, accepted Tim as his ward on a trial basis after being convinced by the boy, as well as Dick and Alfred. He was trained over several months, first by Alfred, then Batman, and finally Nightwing before ever being allowed to wear the costume again or go into the field. As his training ended, Tim and Bruce agreed to not use the moniker of Robin in honor of his memory, taking upon the name of Red Robin instead.
The Red Robin: Though using the moniker of Red Robin, Tim's suit resembles to that of both Jason's and Dick's costume though comparatively being a much upgraded version of, like Bruce's current costume, Tim's is made of a lightweight kevlar armor that allows him to move at a much faster and quicker manner than his predecessors. Differenciating himself from his predecessors, Tim is by far the smartest of the three Robins, not only being able to go head to head with the likes of Bruce Wayne to even those like Harrison Wells, Ray Palmer or Doctor Otto Octavius, but also to have figured out both Batman and Robin's identities at the age of 9. His principal weapon of use is that of the Bo Staff, usually engaging against his opponents using the art of Bojutsu, a staff technique learnt from Lady Shiva while training under her. Along with his staff and his intelligence, Tim is the Robin that is the most close in abilitties to Bruce.
Young Justice: Tim alongside Superboy, and Impulse would eventually team up and realize that they worked well together. As a result, the three of them created Young Justice, a team of young heroes under the management and blessing of the new League created by Batman.
Gathered by the Dark Knight himself, Tim alongside the other members of YJ were gathered in a hideout inside one of Bruce's many secret Batcaves, they would become a team, on Justice League's terms, handling covert ops missions.
