We return to our venture into the second formation of the League with the twins, one is weird, the other is fast
Portrayed by: Elizabeth Olsen and Evan Peters
Story: Sons of the mutant international terrorist Magnus Eisendhart aka Magneto, Zatanna and Pietro were left by his father at an early age. Zat and Pietro would be adopted by married couple, the Crandalls, being raised and take in care by them in their home at Keystone City.
As adolescents, Zatanna and her brother discovered that they had peculiar talents, Zat being able to conjure spells and his brother being able to run great speeds in the spand of seconds. Originally using their powers for self gain, eventually their adoptive father Max Crandall would teach them to use their power for good.
As time passed, Zat and Pietro would train under Max's regiment, learning how to control their abilities, eventually as Max didn't have enough to teach them, he would send them to different places as to gain better training, sending Zat to the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters and taking Pietro along with himself to visit a friend of his at Horizon Labs, Barry Allen. Pietro would learn not only how to run fast, but to use his speed to defend himself, as he finished training he would be given by Max an old relique that belonged to him when he was younger, a metallic winged helmet that belonged to his grandfather during the war.
Zatanna on the other hand, would learn that his abilities rather than being probablity based, were actually magic, eventually she would leave the school to leave to Europe, trying to learn the most she could on his magic abilities, eventually meeting her mother Sindella Zatara, discovering that unlike his brother she wasn't a mutant but rather a Homo Magi, humans with a natural ability to conjure magical energies. Zat would learn along with her mother how to use her magic abilities, learning to cast spells by ''Logomancy'', speaking backwards to create and focus her spells.
Eventually, as the Justice League's members left and J'onn J'onzz was attempting to reform the team, they would be enlisted by their father to become members, as to direct his sons to a good path and to continue his heroic legacy as he was once a member of the Justice Society of America.
