one of 10-15min quick sketches to visualize ideas for my upcoming illustrations.And nope, I'm not dead yet.
Just had quite necessary break from drawing.
Will scrap later.

The composition for this piece is really interesting to me, and the scale detail on the chest/back looks cool with having the rows of long spikes along with the smoother layered ones. Arranging subjects in a scene(As opposed to having them in blank space) is an area I'm trying to improve on, these sort of pieces give me some ideas.

I really like the dynamic posing in this image. The flow of the limbs works really well with the movement of dragon as a whole. I love that loose sketchy look and all those little rough details are extremely lovely. I can't wait to see this as a finished piece.Β

I'm not so naive that I think it came from nowhere, you've clearly worked really hard and for a long time to make something so good, however it took to sketch!Β It's just very humbling to know that people with that level of skill are out there I think. Β I didn't mean to imply you were just born that great
