Everybody thinks that you are doing very well...
Will that day of unchained feelings come someday?

I think there are people who ask βhow are youβ, but they are not really interested in knowing; itβs just a social thing. ΒΏHow are you? Fine. Good.
If you are truly interested in knowing how other person is feeling, go further. Ask βFine? What is fine for you?β. You would be surprised for the answers they give you.

Wonderful detail. Absolutely beautiful.
I spent far too long only ever saying I was "doing good" til it got too much. Now I make sure I tell the truth to at least one person. It's ok to be "weak" sometimes, and friends/family/lovers will understand that. I think it takes greater courage to talk about it though, than cover it up.

When asking that question it is seldom that one is really wants to hear the answer and pay attention to your concerns. It has become more kind of unofficial social greeting I think.
Or for the asked one it's a polite way of saying that you don't want to share your concerns.

I'm not a good example of a pollite person, usually I just answer "I'm not in a good mood", people arround me are used to my personallity and doesn't care anymore about my rude (I consider it sincerity) way of being, I preffer not lie to the others about how I'm feeling because I feel like I'm lying to myself if i do it. What I'm trying to get to is that I say how I feel, but not entirelly, I'm kind of the "Lonelly Wolf". However, I understand how you feel, I've done it many times before

and yea i know what you mean. it's just easier that way then trying to explain what you're feeling. sometimes words just dont cut it and they will not understand no matter how hard you try to describe what you are feeling

Ugh, I hear ya. And I hate that it's considered impolite to not say it, but it's just awkward if you say anything other than "good" back, unless you're talking to a close friend. Honestly, we need some other greeting. Or we could just stick to "hello." Why can't we just say "hello" and launch right into whatever we need to talk about? Why waste time on an empty exchange that nobody even pays attention to?
Doesn't help that I'm awkward and have a tendency to jump the gun and say "how are you?" right back without actually answering Luckily, about half of the people I meet are basically running on autopilot when they ask and don't even notice. Unfortunately, the other half look at me like I'm crazy...
