Description I just wanted to share a few photos of winter which I took by cell phone many weeks ago when we still had summer... but just I nearly forgot to post.

On that day, I woke up... and through window I see everything became white and heavenly!
Loads of snow, low temperatures and summer was about just to end! Not even fall has started and we already experienced the first snow and full snowy real winter!
It was amazing to experience this.

I love snow and winter season more anything else. Fall and winter are my most favourite inspirations and climates.

Naprzyklad, faktycznie Alpy Szwajcarskie sa bajeczne i piekne prawda? Duzo ludzi tam jezdzi i bywalam tam. Chociaz z drugiej strony, niechcialabym tego promowac bo turystyka by zniszczyla te naturalna wyjatkowosc natury

man I wish I got as much snow as you!
I live so close to the coast-the temperpature only allows for rain during the winter. Beautiful shots though-they remind me of the few magical times I saw snow in MY backyard

wow thats awesome haha. On the most part in england were lucky if it ever snows. Or if you think about it then were not lucky because if it does they never have enough salt stored up for the roads and theres slush and accidents everywhere... but snowballs are fun!

I live in Arizona, so we don't ever get much more than a light dusting of snow, which looks rather fetching on an outcrop of reddish sandstone. Higher up, in the mountains, we do get proper snowstorms, though. It's pretty amazing seeing what a true, snowy winter with pine trees and hazy skies looks like in Greenland- thanks for sharing!!

I eel bad for you "desert dwellers" you get almost no snow! How do you deal with it?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Sagittarius-A-star In reply to ConnorSwift [2012-10-02 22:27:46 +0000 UTC]

Well, the desert has its own beauties- up north, you'll never see saguaro cacti stretching into the distance, or see giant lizards scrambling on your house in the late afternoon, or the wonderful scruffy trees and prickly pear cacti that flourish in our arid conditions. Then there are the wonderful Arizona thunderstorms in the summer, with lightning dancing in the surrounding hills and sudden showers. Heat lightning shimmers on the horizon during late evenings. Rainbows are common, even full arches. The sky is beautiful, too- the Milky Way stretches across the sky like spilt milk, the stars and planets are clearly visible, and you can even catch sight of the ISS when it is flying overhead. Personally, I don't know how anyone deals with living in a place that has no lizards. We have so many- little gray ones, big striped ones, long ones that wriggle like snakes (and are really friendly), big gray ones that are very shy, and fat horny toad lizards that supposedly shoot blood from their eyes when attacked, but never do even if you pick them up. [link] We have toads, too, big ones that come out at evening and hop around searching for insects. So, we desert dwellers don't get much snow, but we have lots of things you won't see anywhere else. I guess that's how we deal with it...

I did not think of all that! Definitely far more beautiful out west there compared to the northeast where i am. certainly less rain!
