Don't know why but I love his expression in this picture. It's kind of cute. :3
Wow. You know a lot more about the mansion than I do! I got so confused by all the different stories that I just learned the basics and started making up my own stuff.
And what is this game you keep mentioning?

I can't follow half of the stories. Almost everything isn't official, even if it IS official *cough*movie*cough*
The game I talk about is the Haunted Mansion game, of course. It's loosely based on the movie and ride, but mostly has its own story. Organist is in it, and he's such a snooty ghost >XD

Too true! The movie was so different from how I imagined it would be; just adds another angle.
Ooh, I never knew there was a videogame! (I suppose I should have expected there to be one out there somewhere, I just never really paid attention).

Hopefully the new movie will be better! I don't think it has anything to do with the first movie at all, which is good XD;;
The game is pretty to the point. Lots of ghost hunting and spider killing.
But the Organist is such a jerk. I love him for that >XD (He's kind of sweet at the end. Still snooty, but sweet XD)

O.O *facepalm* Wow, I can't believe I hadn't heard about the new Haunted Mansion movie until just now! I've been distracted from that fandom longer than I thought! Can't wait to see how they do this one!
Sounds fun. If only I had money to get it...

Not much is known. Mostly the Doombugs know a bit about it, and a few outsider fans. *shrugs* 83
I just like it 'cause of the Organist. That's pretty obvious by now. But he's barely in it. And you can't talk to him after you give him his death certificate. He just keeps playing and ignores you XD;;

I think I just had that little "rant" just to point out that even the official artists have different ideas on how he should look. Or something like that. >X3

*remembers one of the micechat trivia questions involving GH being naked* ...Yeah. I'm not making that up, either >XD
I like all the portraits of him (even the earlier ones where he looks like an old hag for some reason XD)
Gotta admit, though; he's more charming with his cadaverous colors than he was with peach skin and blond hair. He does have both eyes open in the full portrait in the Tokyo version, I think, so the scar thing seems moot. Just a random detail to make him look that much more manacing? XD
(....I like his shadow. Even if the WDW version is a little more cartoony with him staring straight ahead instead of to the side. Shadow shadow shadow...)

Hmm... is the DL/WDW GH the same as the Tokyo GH? I mean, we have French GH. And a lot of acronyms. X3
I have the audio for the Tokyo version come to think of it, and I don't think I've ever listened to it. I just downloaded it from somewhere last year.

I think that each GH painting is different even if he's in the exact same "I'm standing here with a hatchet in my right hand and the noose tail in my left hand!" pose. Each time he's painted, the artist seems to take certain liberties in the job, altering his colors, expression, hair, and apparently blood?? (The bloody hatchet one still confuses me so much XD...)
Okay, here's what happened:
There was a party, much like the one we mortals get to see in the ballroom. Only, this was for happy haunts only!
Anyway, there was a box of donuts. Far be it from ghosts to care if they can actually eat food or not (Boy, will they try!).
There was one jelly donut left. Ah, but both duelists saw it at the same time! Egads! And when they realize that the other isn't going to give the prize up, an all-out battle ensues.
To keep those ghostly bullets from ricocheting all around the ballroom and tearing it up more than it already is, Ghost Host steps in.
He smirks wickedly, raising his trusty hatchet, laughing like a madman.
Both duelists are in utter shock! What's become of their beloved host!? He can't be possessed at this point-- that's just silly!
As the hatchet is swung down, a nasty mess is made....
...A mess of strawberry jelly!?
Both duelists call it a truce for the time being and take their half, attempting to eat it even if they can't digest it. The butlers and maids will clean up, after all!
Ghost Host grins smugly to himself as he wipes the red mess from his hatchet, though he seems to have stains on his clothes now. As he begins to wipe off the rest of the fruity filling, he suddenly smirks. Idea~! He flies off to the organ, smearing the mess on the keys.
OOH, is that Organist angry now!
Ghost Host flies off, laughing with ghoulish delight.

He's so angry. All the time. In the game, in the ride, in the-- Wait.. No, he looks happy in the pins. 8D...

I got sidetracked in that.
But, yeah, apparently DLR/WDW/TDL Ghost Host are the same. Only the TDL one speaks Japanese at times XD;;
I hear there's also a costume called "Ghost Host" over there that looks similar to his, only it's red and black instead of purple and green. Sounds neat!
