Brrrr, why do I have to wear this? It's so cold tonight.There's so much snow too, though it does look so pretty.
Some hot cocoa sounds perfect, I'd like some please.
Mm, it's very delicious. I guess I can stay out a bit longer.

It snowed here in Texas. It was beautiful and so inspiring for art, but I was sick and had finals. Thank goodness Melodia always cheers me up, now I can truly enjoy the cold weather.
It took me a long time to settle what to draw for this. I was not sure if Melodia should wear something, but figured it would be bad if she was out in the cold naked. She still has no pants though, so she's going to have a cold little butt ;3
This was a quick paint that took me a good day. I actually almost gave up on painting and thought of restarting with just inking, but I'm glad I did not as I really like how this turned out. Plus, I actually got a festive piece for the holidays ^w^
I took a poll and a lot of people were okay if I just relaxed for the holidays--I appreciate the concern. I probably will still do some art gifts and commissions, so I hope that's alright.

Glad you went for a festive piece on this one- holiday themed art is some of my favorite, especially the classic santa-esque costumes.
The detail here is done very well and it works great for these pictures where the pony takes up most of the space. Also, I see that bell on Melodia's tail, which is a neat little detail. I love this- it's always a pleasure to see more Melodia!

Hah the socks and scarf are certainly Melodia's favourite colour, the pink really does help accent her eyes. But of course the outfit is obligatory, Melodia is pretty sure it's the only way she can be cute.
Yus, this piece really cheered me up, and I'm so psyched to do art now--I just need to get some hot chocolate and a lovely morning to get a lot of work done. Hopefully I can get these art gifts done in time, though I am very what order I should publish them.

Well, it's been years since we got snow (at best/worst we get ice), and the snow came at night then the next day it was sunny all day. So we pretty much had snow for half a day. I'm surprised you don't get much snow in Utah, maybe it's just so dry? I feel that, nowadays December is hardly the snow season and it's more January and February.

I love this picture! Yeah, she's probably better off wearing clothes in the snow. A coat of fur or whatever ponies have isn't going to cut it, and clothes are cuter anyways
In response to your question, I'm currently involved in an art-based Secret Santa. I still have to finish up my drawing, and it's definitely a pain to make what might be my biggest picture yet while studying for finals, but I think it's coming along nicely. I'm excited to see how it turns out. Presumably, I'll be getting a drawing in return, so that'll be a nice Christmas gift.

I know, I imagine ponies have soft, silky fur, not at all enough to combat the cold. Wouldn't want a poor little, cold pone on our hands.
