Or at least I think that's the best thing that could happen to pokemon right now since, I think it would be Best Wishes where the plots became repetitive and dull and the new pokemon started to be really boring imo. Don't get me wrong, there's a quite bunch of pokes post-Unova I love, specially Kalos ones, but most of them are just so plain. If that was all of it, well ok. But there's also the plot-lines and mhm......pokemon overall is loosing audience faster than they can get it, is starting to don't produce profit outside the merch from the games, and most of it is bought by people my age or even older with the nostalgia factor, children nowadays are not really interested;;;;
So probably best thing that could happen is for Ash to finish his journey here in Kalos and give the torch to a new protag trainer, possibly a child of him and Serena (cos everyone loves a good next-gen
