Drip, DripDrip, drip, the blood falls down
Watering and nourishing the ground
Crack! Crack! the whip does strike
Into his back, its teeth do bite
Shout! Shout! the angry cries
To the unrelenting skies
Drip, drip, the blood falls down
Watering and nourishing the ground
No one dares to weep or mourn
All eyes full of hate and scorn
Stomp! Stomp! the sandalled feet
Pound the execution's dreaded beat
Drip, drip, the blood falls down
Watering and nourishing the ground.
Thump! Thump! His skin the nails do pierce
Cry out, for now the pain is fierce.
Raise, raise high the cross
So all Christians know their loss
Drip, drip, the blood falls down
Watering and nourishing the ground
Gasp, gasp does he for breath
Drawing ever closer to his death
Wail, wail, his mother cries
As upon the cross, her son dies

The funny part is, the sermon I wrote that during wasn't even about the crucifiction. We were talking about the Sermon on the Mount at the time. Don't ask how I remember that.

Two of my friends introduced me to it and, no offense, but Wicca made more sense than Christianity.
I'm not against Christians, though. Some of my best friends are Christians. I guess this poem is a tribute to them more than anything else.

that's very cool. ^^Oh, and I don't find that offending at all, I have a lot of friends with different religions. I've never heard of Wicca, though, what is it exactly( again if you don't mind my asking, I find it interesting hearing about different beliefs ^^)

Wicca is a nature based religion that worships a Triune Goddess and a single God. A lot of people confuse Wicca for Satanism, when Wiccans don't believe in heaven or hell. They believe in reincarnation.
