I guess I've heard the term 'Robot Jesus' one too many times. This image popped into my head and I had to get it on paper. It's not perfect. As soon as I was done I see 25 things I'd like to fix but this will stay as it is.

I've got to stop drawing things twice.

I'd love to do a pic like this, but there's too many details. So if I do, it'll probably just be a closeup of one of his hands with a stake though it. Just as provocative.

The idea is for it to show how G1 shaped all other incarnations of the characters, and how they repeat their actions over and over in each world. Plus, Optimus really reminds me of this guy: [link]

I know it's very dark, tried to 'brighten-it-up' a bit with the help of a layermask, but no such luck....

I have completely redrawn it and will post new version tonight it was bugging me so bad.
Someotimes I wonder if I was the same person that drew a pic a few days ago when some of the needed corrections seem so obvious and unacceptable.

Well, when you're drawing the initial picture you are overwhelmed with everything at once... then when you come back you can focus on details. I know what you mean because I do the same thing and think, "This picture is great!" but then I see it a week later and I'm like, "What the heck was I thinking?!" lol but then again my drawings are *very* amature LOL
