unfortunately, my male /did/ have to regenerate his tail a few weeks or so after i brought him home and showed him to my female, who was the one who ate it (i know, but she was a moody teenager, and he was a little baby, making his tail look like a meal worm to her -ew-) >.< we were at my cousin's house when it happened, so we didn't witness it. i hope they're happy with their new owners (we eventually gave them to the pet store)
