Description
I finally got around to scanning all the rest of these |D. This is my concentration for my third year in AP. The theme was constellations personified through contortionist.I love contortionists and constellations so I did that. There is also a heavily strong art nouveau theme in the background.
This is Corvus the Crow.
Processing for these images:
- 16x23 line art drawn on the computer - 1 hour.
- Line art printed via large school printer we just got <3<3!!
- Colored using my usual methods of colored pencils and markers - 45 minutes roughly.
This is my personal favorite |D I'm so sad I chose this direction though, my concept art had his other side of his face all jacked up. But I felt it was unneeded to add in once I posed him and liked his face shading. He and Columba look fabulous side by side :3

I'm thinking of doing art AP senior year, but i hear anime art isn't liked too much for art AP =_= i'll show those ap graders >.>

And yeah I'd say stray as far from anime as possible if you want to do AP. It will get you a low score and that's a lot of money to throw away :< so if you can develop something outside of that it'll help a lot.
It's hard but fffff worth it. Depends what you do for your concentration anyway, one friend of mine did chairs sooo XD

Yeah, i guess it's good to try new things out of my comfort zone. Hopefully i'll get to improve as an artist after taking it

Was bored with being done with my ART I homework in class one day, my teacher asked me if I'd be interested in doing a drawing lab over the summer, took me to the new art teacher Anderson and he was overly impressed with my CRAP.
He told me to take AP junior year instead of senior year like I was going to, the guy doesn't know my name and sees me in the hall next day. Is flailing around "HEY HEY! YOU! On second thought if I get it okay'd I want you in AP next year!"
First sophomore to do it at my school }D AND THAT IS HOW I STARTED BEING AN ARTFAG
