The tinkling of glass,
Of those once vapors
Fallen fresh as snow
And fleeting in their stay --
For like diamonds
Upon greenest blades
They migrate from leaf
to stem
to soil;
They spiral in a fashion
Of shimmering suns . . .
And on those fronds
Fuse like stars
In an infant galaxy.
In time's passage
They shall again
Abscond to air
to sky
to Heaven,
Vapors once again.

Great capture! I wonder how those leaves can support such large water drops without bending more than they are, must be a really stiff plant? Anyways,

Very nice! I love the droplets of water and the spiral pattern of the leaves. I could see something like this being a computer wallpaper. The only critique I would give is I wonder how it would look if the greens were a little more saturated. Might look too strange...don't know. I would love to see more of these.

novelhill In reply to AetherealDesigns [2009-10-19 07:06:45 +0000 UTC]

I boosted the saturation a lot already. Any more and the picture would become . . . well, not so pretty. I already tried it. And I have set it as my wallpaper

i-Cansei In reply to novelhill [2009-10-19 16:04:12 +0000 UTC]

vibrancy really. and as daft as you may think it sounds, i think it lacks a tiny touch of red. like colour balance wise

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

novelhill In reply to i-Cansei [2009-10-19 19:05:52 +0000 UTC]

hmm interesting point. I'll see how it looks. And you're the second person to talk about saturation. On my computer it looks very vibrant.
