Little something that popped into my head when I was listening to 'Try to Remember' by Nana Mouskouri. She is a wonderful singer with a beautiful voice and you guys should seriously give this song. It brings tears to my eyes when I listen to it. It makes me remember good times with fondness. Oh yeah, and I like cherry blossoms. They're so pretty in spring, one of the reasons I love spring.Here are the lyrics to, 'Try to Remember':

Fun facts: In Anime, scenes with this falling often mean "someone undergoing great change" (may be positive or negative, e.g. after someone's death) Because one thing they represent is "nothing lasts forever." Also, in Akage No Anne (Anne of Green Gables), to keep things as authentic as possible, instead of cherry blossoms, it's apple blossoms that are used in the exact same way!

And wow, cool. I do feel as if I'm undergoing some sort of change. Though I don't know what kind. Hopefully a nice positive one. 
And I've read Anne of Green Gables. A neighbour friend of mine once lent me the book. It was a wonderful read.

Well, thanks to the new curriculum made up when Japan was occupied by the US following World War II, "Anne of Green Gables" became required reading for those in secondary school. And it became VERY big there....many Japanese travel to Canada just to go to Prince Edward Island and "walk where Anne would have walked." Anyways, I watched the anime just to see how faithful it was to...Canada. Got things very right. And the SUBTITLES of what I saw dropped the ball, writing "CharlotteVILLE" when it's "CharlotteTOWN" (whereas the people saying it got it right, albeit in a Japanese manner)

ironically, there's no official dub in English (but the subtitles were decent on what I found, despite the "Charlotteville" mistake)
Also, the first 15 episodes of it had Miyazaki (better known for Studio Ghibli) involved with it!

Another fun fact: In Japan she's known as Akage No Anne or "Red Headed Anne." I guess because the red hair is more of a novelty there than it would be in the English speaking world.
