I have only seen this emotion projected in one other girl eyes, while the intensity and or tension is captured only in the eyes and the face is totally relaxed, her translucent skin is so beautiful, the other major feature is her face proportions are near perfect balance, if she smiled we see the width of her eyes is proportion with her mouth. The shot is perfect in that the tree line creates a natural line for are eyes to follow , the only problem is the blur on top of her head, which actually would have created a layer of depth in the field of the image, but I get why he brushed it out… Still it is a wonderful image.

I love your choice to blur out the focus on the background, in favor of the foreground. That, as well as her wonderfully red hair and the contrast of light and shadow, make for a great focal point, bringing the viewer's eyes immediately to her own.
