Thanks! I referenced the pose and face from a couple of tiger photos and used Photoshop to colour the sketch and add the fire

Thanks! Yep, I use layers - one for each colour on the tiger, one for shading, one for higlights, three flame layers (back, mid, fore) a background colour layer, and two layers for the ball thingy between its paws Amongst others
