www.easypolls.net/poll.html?p=…I would like to get a vote on if I should buy Pokemon Sword & Shield or cancel my preorder.
It annoys me to no end that game freak is doubling down on their position without giving reasons that are easily dismissed.
As a fan of the series it feels wrong to get a game that the pokemon I've worked hard for can't join.
So I want you opinion should I skip this game and wait till a pokemon game in future has them all or should I buy it regardless of the missing pokemon?

i say buy it. if you were a fan of all the other games then you will come to regret not getting it when you could.
personally, I'm getting both to add to my collection of Pokemon games. I almost have them all! just missing gen 7 (because I gave them to a friend of mine for giving me all of gen 3) and I'm missing pokemon white and white 2.
and I'm actually used to not having access to all the pokemon. for years I only had access to only one game at a time and had no one to trade with. its only in the last year that I started collecting and got an old DS to play the older games.
while it does suck that I wouldn't be able to bring back some of my favorite pokemon, at the end of the day, the point of the new games is to give us new pokemon, a new region, and a new journey.

Nintendo has an EASY solution with Sword and Shield... A patch when Pokemon Home comes out adding the remaining pokemon to Sword and Shield. They only really need the models and moves, as Let's Go has Gen 1-7 pokemon coded in and they can transfer the coding over. Add the Models and some Moves to Let's Go, and you can play with gen 7 pokemon in a gen 1 game... The solution is just that easy

I really don’t know I’m sorry but if you still want me to say anything then please just do what you want . I would be personally very disappointed if I couldn’t transfer my favorite Pokemon over and that might be the case. But it is still a new Pokemon game a new adventure and they haven’t spoiled us a lot like with sun and moon so honestly it might be kinda cool? Idk

Aww thanks ^^ anyway like I said do what you want because whether a game is good or bad whether you play it or not I think should be up to you obviously ^^ lots of personal stuff for example I’ve lived in uk for a while now and it hasn’t been amazing for me so when I first saw the games I was like shocked but even then I can move past that and appreciate it for what it is ^^

Dunno about you, but i'm getting mine, am i dissapointed not all Pokémon will be there? Yes, but it's a Pokémon game, it'll be good, i'll have a good time with it, and it might be a chance to try new Pokémon.
