Ok now this is quite an impressive drawing. The fire has such a beautiful layout and pattern it's pure eye candy. You also have got to love some of those patterns inside the mane. So many lines it makes it really detailed. I like the horns too, just the angle of them really gives off this feel. I have to admit, when I noticed you used three shades at the neck that was impressive. Love it!

Yeah, I also enjoy shading as well (Not very good at it though). I liked the image a lot. I know people were saying that your previous one was better but I love them both! It is quite incredible to know such wonderful Artists. Well, maybe not know but at least seen

Well, there are always such people who will say that previous one was better, it's really classic situation so honestly I'm not surprised and even knew that there will be such comments :"D In my opinion it all depends on person and their tastes. c:

Art is one of the many things that people can have different tastes. It's like genres for writing or types of music. I prefer pop or actually good rap but I don't mind rock and grunge. I like art due to the fact that's its very wide varied. Also goes with writing. I think it's actually better than reading because you can actually control where the story goes. If you have the ideas then just jot it down on paper.

I can certainly say there is a vast improvement since your first picture. I like the subtle scaled details over the drawn out one a lot better. This is also beautifully cell shaded!
However, the 2016 version has my eyes being drawn back to it again and again. It's the color palette. While the sharp array of blues and cyans are lovely, having no other colors to contrast against the reds and maroon makes this feel... empty, for lack of a better word. Just that little bit of yellow tone one the horns and teeth makes a big difference.

Well, may be, may be not. I tried to make teeth in similar yellow hues, but it didn't looked nice for me. Anyway thanks for such comment, it's interesting to see what's other people think :>
