Description I see why they call this a challenge! I would love to broaden this into a bigger piece one day. I've always been sympathetic to villains, and this one is my favorite of the Disney variety

Indeed this is a much more whimsical look for Maleficent!   And in truth I like your version better with the "Snow white" styled dress, hair let down and more of a evil princess look to her!   The inclusion of the dragon in the frame is that "extra mile" detail I LOVE in you pictures!   Well done!

Nice to see my favorite villainess letting her hair down and sporting a more disheveled and demonic looking raven.  I don't know if that's Diablo, but he was the one who taught me how to say "raven".  I was coloring in a Sleeping Beauty coloring book at about age 6 I want to say, and I was reading the text above the pictures to practice my fledgling reading skills.  I said "raven" with a short 'a', like "ravenous", and my mother said "raven" the proper way when she heard that.  Pronounced it fine ever since.
