Eh well I wasn't feeling so good today..kinda weird..so I thought I'd try to paint sth to calm myself...so yeah XDĀ I really enjoyed painting this...was fun to let loose and not worry about anything much for a change
Done in Photoshop CS6 with me intuos4, took around 2 hours or so...Textures from: www.cgtextures.com

Ahhh that looks really cool!The out of focus effect in this drawing (created by the painty, almost blurred brush strokes) makes it seem so dreamy!Ā
I know you used CS6 but do you think those brushes would work with CS5? (If not I'll just figure out a way to replicate but- OTL OTL crai)Ā

I think it should? Not sure tho..it's a custom brush I made, if you want I can give it to you >3> Or if it doesn't work I can tell you how I made it so you can make it yourself... And I painted at 46% flow which made the brush pretty soft...

You know I really like colour schemes like these where the blossoms look pink but in fact the whole pallet has been adjusted so they just appear pink but are really red/orange in hue.
The whole thing looks wonderful!
Something I notice though, is a horizontal line near the top through some texture, as if a layer has gone bung. Not sure if that's intentional or not

holy cow this is so cool
it almost has an underwater feel to it or that you're looking through textured glass with how you did your strokes
