The wolf man could feel this lifeless, heatless entity sneaking around him. He made a brief retreat, but to no avail. The demonic creature sensed this apprehension in Nox. He stretched out a deformed smile tinged with malevolence on his phosphorescent and blood-colored face.
The werewolf looked away so as not to cross the sparkling eyes of this monster from the deepest abyss of black magic. He saw only darkness and could barely distinguish the shape of the naked trees dancing in the night. The only light came from this thing that seemed to be becoming more and more blinding.
In these shady places, dawn rose on this evidence: his bond with the other werewolves was broken, but it would allow him to finally embrace his destiny.
