Under a winter wind, rattles could be heard in the small village abandoned by all souls. Living in fear had become insurmountable for the poor inhabitants.

Aiden was standing in the middle of the Square with a skull in his hand. It was all that was left of his old friend, the very same who had left traces of a deadly battle all over the lycan's body. The winner was evident.

Remembering sweet moments, Aiden was holding the damned deceased so tightly that pieces began to come off. This symphony of crackling sounds mixed with the sound of falling snow was getting faster and faster. The shards twirled until they intertwined with the graying hair of the old wolf. He sighed one last time, and with one last memory, he blew up his sidekick into ashes.
