After the disappearance of his wife and child, Aiden found himself alone.
After thinking deeply for a while, he decided to hire a man to help him develop his sweet revenge; to get rid of all those who turned their
backs on him.
Having a person by his side would make him much more powerful and unattainable.

He went to a small village where he found a large family, with many children. His choice was the youngest and most lively child, Asgarel, who
he was given for only a small bag of gold coins.
The werewolf taught the young boy to fight with a sword, hunt with a bow and made him go though more of his intensive and difficult tests that
were merciless against the child. Although, it did prove to Aiden that Asgarel’s stealth skills were up to his expectations.

His apprentice was in no doubt gifted, clearly born for this reason. But the most difficult task was to rid him of all human feeling; notably
compassion, which could ruin his final mission if left unchecked.
It was by constantly abusing the boy physically and psychologically that he succeeded in making Asgarel a real cold-blooded killer, conditioned
and ready to do anything to serve and protect his mentor.
