To the Splatoon LGBT community: Splatoon isnβt just your Gay Game, Pearlina isnβt Canon, and we straights exist too!(I have no intentions to be homophobic, Gays are just regular people in my eyes, but all the LGBT content is making it feel wrong to be straight. If you guys donβt want to stop the LGBT propaganda, at least turn it down a notch. And you? Part of the 95.5%? You feel like a minority yet because of your orientation and gender? I'm also assuming you're white at this point too because you're telling gay people to turn it a notch down, but can you turn your "heterosexuality" a notch down too? I don't know man I'm not white nor straight so maybe I'm not as educated as you on LGBT propaganda or something because of your privileges, but I'm sure LGBT people can speak on their own without help. "We don't ship it, but it's fine you do" isn't comment even worth being said. That's like walking up to a couple and being like you're together and that's not cool. Just literally go somewhere else rather than shitting on someone's art with your horrible rant that made no fucking sense. Of course, Splatoon is enjoyed by anyone of any national background, orientation, and gender. No one needed to be told that. Why are you so asshurt about diversity? Who hurt you so fucking badly? But it feels like a gamble to be straight when almost everyone in the community is Gay, no matter race, ethnicity, or gender! And the issue isnβt that you made Pearlina fan art, People automatically assume itβs canon because of the smallest interactions! When people politely ask them to stop because for example, itβs the only thing you see in the plaza, Youβre scolded, ridiculed, and labeled a homophobe. Imagine LGBT people are digging themselves out of a hole when they come out as gay. In the Splatoon community, their dragging straight people down into the hole to take their place. On another note, you did NOT ask this artist politely. You came into her art - unwanted and unwarranted - to complain about being a baby who cant handle the idea that wow! Other people aren't straight and wow! Other people don't think straight is the default!

Again, the problem is not that Gays are getting something. With everyone in the community being gay, we feel like we have nothing and no one. We feel isolated from the rest of the community, and we have little to no support because the majority gets on us for even going soft. Like a black person trying to live in a city of racists

No. It's not your made up concept of "hetrophobia" and you're actually being rather homophobic by saying that you're oppressed (plot twist: it's still punishable by death to be gay in 10+ countries! How many countries will you be killed for being straight?)
Straight people have been pushing it in our faces for centuries that it is wrong to be lgbtqia.
