Kai is a young guy who's selling magic items to the people in town and hasn't got any qualms selling all kinds of (dangerous) magic items even to children as long as they pay for it. And even though he looks like a handsome guy his appearance is just an illusion created by his partner Inès, because in reality, he's a young demon with limited abilities.

Likes: watching people mess around carelessly with magic
Dislikes: his sister; getting cursed by Inès

Abilities:
Kai can use his eyes to issue people with simple commands like "stay", "go in that direction", "forget what you just saw", but his ability seems to be unable to force a person doing something they're really against, like physically hurting themselves or other persons that are dear to them.

- Inès Pinette: He and Inès create a bunch of magic items, sell them to the people around town and split the earnings. Kai provides the items and ideas, while Inès crafts the spells that give them their magic properties.
- Desdemona: He's Desdemona's brother, but doesn't care for his sister. He makes fun of Desdemona getting beaten all the time and believes to be better than her.
- Sarah: Sarah is one of Kai's best customers. She always falls for Kai's charm and buys his stuff without thinking. As a reward he always makes her forget about him, so she can't lead her annoying mage friends to him.
