Description View of the ceiling of the Bellagio, a structure consisting of over 2,000 glass flowers, entitled Fiori di Como. Suffice it to say, my neck was cramped after spending 20 minutes looking up at this "garden" of hand-blown glass flowers. My camera and photography abilities (and for that matter the movie Ocean's Eleven) really don't do this Vegas wonder justice. If you have the opportunity...do yourself a favor, grab the person you're closest to (best friend, boyfriend/girlfriend, husband/wife), wisk him or her off to the desert gem, have a wondeful dinner, take in the show "O" and take lots of pictures of the Bellagio ceiling. (Oh, and don't forget the water and light show out in front!)

Thanks so much! You're right about it being difficult to photograph..especially since the figures are on the ceiling! I'll have to check out that shot of yours!

Thank you so much for your comment. Good point about nature. I never thought of it quite that way. I've heard some people say they think it looks like jellyfish, so Plastic Nature could be very appropriate.

Jesu, what a spectacular myriad of colour! I really like the way the light filters through all of it, it almost makes me feel as though it's taken underwater with the lens pointed towards the surface. Very vivid, playfully bold, and incredible well-shot.

Great work!

That's it! I'm putting my foot down. I'm detouring on my way next month and picking you up. If I can come from the east coast to see it...you can certainly travel an hour.

It is such an awesome place. There really aren't words for how amazing it is.

Ooo...a send Onie to Vegas fund.

I'd like enough to stay a couple nights at the Venetian. Nothing too extravagant...a suite'll be fine.

I'll get right on that suite for ya.

I love it. I was sitting here scrolling through my devwatch and saw your pic of the ceiling. Although i have a pic of my own to stare at, I have found myself looking at this one for the last few minutes. Isn't it amazing that you can stare at it and see something different each time?

Hey... what do you say ... want me to whisk you off to Vegas so we can take some more shots? Already saw "O", so how about Matt Dusk?

Beautiful pic Buni. And great title.

Hehe. I do the same thing. Or, if somebody posts something I believe to be cool, or interesting, I research it on the net and pass along anything I learned about said posts. I guess thats because I just like to know worthless info. Once in a while it pays off and I can impress, or piss off someone by knowing about odd things.
