Summer is here again! It's the time of year that millions of people look forward to. . . I have a word for these people: INSANE! I hate summer!

Okay, there's a few things I like, it gets all pretty and green (although springtime green is prettier), and I like the long daylight hours, and I kinda like those little denim shorts that women wear ^_^ and barbecues. Lots to like. So what kills it for me? Well, if the picture doesn't clue you in: THE DAMN HEAT!!! I can't stand hot weather, especially when the humidity shoots up, too, it just steams me alive.

I did something with this theme before a few summers ago. It's not actually supposed to hit 92 this time (it's gonna stop at 89, so, whoopty-shit), but the dewpoints are set to hit 70 and for the next several days, Western Michigan will be an unlivable HELL. Right now I imagine some of you about to say "Oh yeah, come down to Miami! 100 degrees, and dewpoints in the EIGHTIES!" Congratulations, the heat is even more oppressive down there-- you "win".

And I guess I'm exaggerating. I mean, these two young, physically fit women, so I don't think high eighties and high humidity would incapacitate them QUITE so much, but it's still a fun theme to explore. I played with the color a little here, I used really deep, warm colors for the walls and for outside I found a photo of a horrible, hazy, sunny sky. And yet on the floor, where they're laying down, trying to breathe some air that doesn't have a noticeable viscosity to it, I use cool colors to show a bit of mercy, I even adjusted the hardwood floor colors a bit to give it a slight blue tone.

And hey, it's always fun to give these ladies an excuse to be, well, in the state they're in now! Although I don't know how much sex appeal there is in seeing them all perspiring and likely sticky to the touch. Some guys like that, but, nah, I sympathize with them for than anything.
